OUR BELIEFS
- About God- God is the Eternal Lord and Creator of the Universe. (Genesis 1:1, Exodus 20:3).
- About Jesus Christ-The Son of God who has existed from the beginning and came to the earth in the form of man (He was fully God and fully man) to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins and is the Savior of the world. (John 1:1-8; 14:6).
- About the Holy Spirit- Is equal with God the Father and Jesus the Son. He is the very presence of God that is sent as a gift to lead and empower the believer to walk in truth, obedience, and love (Galatians 5; John 14-16).
- About the Trinity- The Trinity is the God head that comes in three forms: 1) God the Father; 2) Jesus the Son; and 3) The Holy Spirit. Each is equal in existence and power, but different in substance.
- About the Bible- The Bible is more than a special book, it is a supernatural, Spirit-breathed compilation of God’s truth, commands, and history with His creation. The Bible is without error, perfect, accurate, and true in every way (Psalm 119; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).
- About Sin- Sin entered mankind through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, and has thus entered the hearts of all who have come into the world. The results of sin is death and eternal separation from God (Romans 3:1, 23)
- About Salvation- Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and is only appropriated as one puts their complete faith in Jesus through confession and continued obedience (Romans 6:23; I John 1:9; Romans 10:8-12).
- About Eternity- Heaven and Hell are real places. Following our physical life on earth, people will spend eternity either in the presence of the Lord or separated from Him. (Revelation 20:15; Revelation 21:27; 2 Timothy 4:1).
